Altınkum Plajı

Altınkum Plajı, located in Çeşme, Turkey, is a small yet beautiful beach renowned for its fine golden sand and clear, gradually deepening turquoise sea. The beach stretches over 500 meters in length and 15 meters in width. The beach's natural beauty is further emphasized by the continuous long tidal waves and its shallow waters, making it an ideal spot for children and non-strong swimmers.

Despite its cool waters, visitors quickly adapt to the temperature, finding the refreshing coolness particularly enjoyable under the hot summer sun. The beach maintains its coolness even during scorching summer days, which sets it apart from other beaches in Çeşme. However, the water can sometimes be extremely cold, and visitors should be prepared for this.

Altınkum Plajı is equipped with several amenities for the convenience of visitors. There are several establishments on the beach where visitors can rent two sun loungers and an umbrella for a daily fee. Additionally, a restaurant on the private beach is open to the public, offering a range of food and beverage options. Visitors also have the option to bring their own umbrella and bed if they prefer.

Parking at Altınkum Plajı is hassle-free and complimentary. Access to the beach is via a side road, and as of August 2022, the beach is no longer fenced, making it open and accessible to the public. However, it's worth noting that the beach can get crowded, and a significant amount of space is reserved for clubs and deck chairs.
