Aydınlık Koyu

Aydınlık Koyu, also known as Güzelçamlı Mahallesi, is a prominent beach located within the Dilek Peninsula-Büyük Menderes Delta National Park in Aydın, Turkey. This beach is situated 5 km away from the entrance gate of the national park and is the second beach within the park. It can be accessed via two routes, one on the east and another on the west. It is situated north of the helicopter landing pad and is a well-organized day-use area.

The beach is renowned for its clear, cool, and deep water, which is ideal for swimming. The shoreline is rocky and the terrain is mostly flat with a slight slope. The beach is one of the longest in the national park, measuring 800m in length. It is characterized by its natural beauty, with pine trees, scattered plane trees, and bushes covering the area.

Aydınlık Koyu is equipped with a variety of amenities to accommodate visitors. These include a country restaurant, a sales kiosk, three toilet buildings, and a 50-ton water tank. Despite the beach often being crowded, there are frequently available sunbeds, both free and paid. Additional amenities include change rooms, showers, park tables, and sleep tables. The existing facilities can accommodate approximately 1000 people.

In terms of accessibility, the beach is reachable by public buses from Kusadasi, which is approximately an hour's travel. It's also part of a road bike trail that starts from Kuşadası and passes through several points of interest before descending to Aydınlık Koyu and returning to Güzelçamlı.

Visitors to Aydınlık Koyu can engage in a variety of activities. Aside from swimming, picnicking and camping are popular activities. However, camping within the park requires permission from the park authorities. Visitors are also advised to be vigilant with their food and belongings due to the presence of wild boars in the area. The beach closes at 7 pm.
