Playa Azul

Playa Azul is a beautiful and clean beach, known for its close proximity to the street, making it easily accessible. The beach is not typically crowded, providing a peaceful environment for visitors. It is conveniently located near various shops and restaurants, adding to the convenience for beachgoers.

The beach is characterized by its blue waters and palm trees, providing a picturesque setting. The waves can be a bit rough, particularly in October, but this does not deter people from enjoying the water. The sea at Playa Azul is also known for its clarity and warmth, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. However, visitors are advised to be cautious of the currents and to pay attention to the color of the flags indicating the water conditions.

Parking is available on the side of the street, free of charge. The entrance to the beach is located between residential hotels and rental condos. After hours, many people can be seen enjoying themselves on the beach.

One of the unique features of Playa Azul is the presence of sea turtles. The beach has red lights at night for the protection of these turtles and their nests. Visitors are urged to be careful not to disturb them. Occasionally, vendors can be found selling ice-cream on the beach. Despite the popularity of the beach, it is kept clean, although there is a call for visitors to help maintain this by not leaving trash around.
