Playa de Bajamar

Playa de Bajamar is a semi-urban beach situated in the municipality of Breña Alta, in La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain. It is located approximately 600 meters south of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the island's capital, and can be reached via the LP-2 regional road, also known as Avenida de Bajamar. The beach is also accessible by public transportation, specifically urban buses.

The beach is characterized by its fine, dark, volcanic sand, and spans around 700 meters in length with an average width of 43 meters. It is known for its moderate waves and the impressive views it offers of the natural monument of El Risco de La Concepción. It is also located close to a fishing harbor and a shelter for recreational boats.

Playa de Bajamar features landscaped areas along its wide promenade, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy leisurely walks by the sea.
