Praia de Barreiros is a semi-urban beach nestled in the municipality of Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. This beautiful beach is located just before the entrance of the town of Sanxenxo and offers a magnificent view of the Sanxenxo coast to the west and the interior of the ria to the east. Its privileged orientation allows it to receive sunlight until late in the afternoon, enhancing its natural beauty.

However, public transportation is available through the interurban route from Pontevedra to Portonovo, which is located 0.5 kilometers away.

Praia de Barreiros is known to be crowded during the peak season, but it is also highly recommended for those who want to escape the crowds of other beaches in the area. Unfortunately, there is no accessibility for disabled individuals at the beach. It is worth noting that the closest hospital is the Hospital de Montecelo, ensuring medical assistance is readily available if needed.
