This beach is the closest to the historic center of Honfleur and is positioned at the mouth of the Seine River, near the Ratier dike. It is also directly connected to Jardin des personnalités, providing a delightful location for a casual stroll. At low tide, this beach reveals its unique characteristic of natural pools forming between the beach and the Ratier sandbank. These natural pools, along with the beach's soft sandy surface, make it a favorite among families. To access Plage du Butin from the city center, one must follow the direction of Naturospace on Boulevard Charles V for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The beach is conveniently located near a free parking area, situated close to the Butin lighthouse. Despite its proximity to the industrial port area, Plage du Butin remains a popular destination for its tranquility and natural charm.
