Buyé Beach is a picturesque and popular coastal location situated in Cabo Rojo Municipio County, Puerto Rico. The beach is administered by the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board and has been a part of the Water Quality Portal since 2008, with continuous data records on its physical and microbiological characteristics. The beach is characterized by its fine white sand and calm, warm waters, making it a perfect place for leisure and relaxation. It offers stunning 360-degree views, particularly during sunset, adding to the serene atmosphere. Despite its secluded location, Buyé Beach tends to get crowded, especially under the trees where visitors find shelter from the sun or occasional storms. The beach is particularly popular among high school age groups. For visitor convenience, Buyé Beach provides amenities such as bathrooms and coin-operated showers. Concrete tables and benches are also available, offering a comfortable spot for guests to unwind under the shade of the trees. While there are some food and drink options on-site, the selection may be limited, so visitors are often encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Parking facilities are available at Buyé Beach, with both free and paid options. The paid parking, costing $5 for the entire day, is situated closer to the beach entrance. However, as parking spaces are limited, visitors are advised to arrive early, preferably by 9:00 AM, to secure a spot. Street parking is also an option. Since there are no lifeguards on duty at Buyé Beach, visitors are advised to exercise caution when swimming. To preserve the cleanliness and beauty of the beach, visitors are requested to carry their trash with them if there are no garbage cans available.
