Cellito Beach

Cellito Beach is a standout location near the Smiths Lakes area, synonymous with Pacific Palms. The beach is known for its crystal clear water and stunning surrounds. It is not uncommon to spot dolphins swimming up and down the beach. The beach also offers decent surf, making it a great place to catch some waves.

The beach is accessible via a bumpy dirt road, which can be challenging to navigate due to deep dips and holes. However, the road is regularly graded, making it manageable for 2WD vehicles. It is advisable to arrive early as parking space can be limited.

One of the unique features of Cellito Beach is the raised boardwalk that leads from the carpark to the beach. This boardwalk, which is well-placed and informative, protects the area and offers a walk through the rainforest. Along the way, there are a number of signs posted with information about the local flora and fauna. There is also a seat at the end of the boardwalk, offering a view over the beach.

In addition to the beach itself, there are other attractions in the area. A track on the north end of the beach leads to a beautiful rock pool. There is also a grassy hill on the other side of the beach, which offers a stunning view of both sides. At low tide, it is possible to see sea stars, tiny fish, and even anemones between the rocks.

Nearby amenities include camping grounds and a golf course. Shops and a local club are also within a short distance. Whether you're looking to go exploring, relax, or simply do nothing at all, Cellito Beach offers something for everyone.
