Compton Beach

Compton Beach is a beautiful sandy beach located on the Isle of Wight. It is known for its stunning views and is considered one of the best beaches on the island. Compton Beach is dog-friendly and provides a sheltered environment for visitors. However, visitors are reminded to take their rubbish home with them, including dog waste, to maintain the cleanliness of the beach.

The beach is accessible via a car park at the top, which is run by the National Trust. From the car park, there are steps leading down to the beach. However, visitors should be aware of potential cliff falls, as the car park is slowly being eroded into the sea. The condition of the steps is also a concern, as they are not particularly stable. The car park also houses toilets, although their condition has been a point of criticism.

Despite these concerns, Compton Beach is still considered worth a visit for its fantastic views, nice beach, and opportunities for walking and relaxation.
