Duna di Capratica

Duna di Capratica, also known as Spiaggia duna di Capratica, Fondi, is a coastal dune situated in the Lazio region of Italy. Partly located in the municipalities of Sperlonga and Fondi, this sandy coastline stretches approximately 2500 meters. The dune is a significant area for biodiversity conservation, playing a crucial role in the European continent's ecological balance.

Duna di Capratica is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation, which differentiates it from other beaches in the region. Despite pressures from tourism and seasonal crowds, the area has been preserved, and its unique flora and fauna are actively managed to maintain the natural biological equilibrium.

There is a single kiosk present on the beach, serving as the only development in the otherwise unspoiled landscape. For those wishing to visit, the beach is accessible by bike from Sperlonga, a short journey of just over four kilometers. For those traveling by car, paid parking is available near Lago Lungo. Access is also possible from the various equipped lidos entering from the Flacca.
