Durley Chine Beach

Durley Chine Beach is a scenic beach located in Durley Chine, situated to the west of Bournemouth pier. The beach is renowned for its cleanliness and golden sands that are ideal for sunbathing and building sandcastles. It is a favored spot for families due to its numerous amenities, which include baby changing stations, ice cream kiosks, and lost children's centers.

Dogs are allowed on certain sections of the beach, but they must be kept on a leash in specific areas. Durley Chine Car Park is located adjacent to the beach and has accessible bays, making it convenient for visitors to access the beach. Additionally, the beach is a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts, with activities such as wind surfing, water skiing, surfing, swimming, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking available.

Beach huts are available to rent throughout the year, and there are toilets with baby changing facilities and an accessible toilet. The beach is accessible from the car park or Middle Chine. It is a shingle and sand beach with a gentle slope into the sea, and lifeguard patrols are available from May to September.

Barbecues are only allowed at specific times, and gas barbecues are not permitted. Amenities on the beach include toilets, bars, and restaurants.
