Erlebnispark Hög, also known as Hög Adventure Park, is a popular destination nestled high above Serfaus in Tyrol, Austria. Positioned near the Alpkopf Cable Car intermediate station and the enchanting Lake Högsee, this park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and adventurous activities.
The park is divided into two main areas, Lake Högsee and the Adventure Park. Lake Högsee is a reservoir with a water temperature that can reach up to 20°C, making it a refreshing retreat during warm weather. It offers a host of water activities such as standup paddleboarding, boat rental, geocaching, and a raftsman course. An island in the middle of the lake, reachable by rented pedal boats, provides comfortable loungers for relaxation and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain panorama.
Adjacent to the lake is the Hög Adventure Park, which has a central theme of forest and farming management. Among the numerous play stations, visitors can engage in a lumberjack playground, a wooden sphere run, a skills course, and giant milk cans. The park also features a unique cowpat trampoline and a Wasserlabyrinth, a water duel experience that involves trying to reach a goal without being hit by changing water directions. For a thrilling year-round activity, there is the "Schneisenfeger", a toboggan run on rails located near the park's restaurant.
Erlebnispark Hög is easily accessible via the Alpkopf Cable Car, which operates during the hiking season starting mid-June. Despite its popularity, the park can become crowded during good weather, so visitors are advised to plan their visit accordingly. In addition to the various activities, the park also provides amenities such as restaurants where visitors can enjoy meals, drinks, and ice cream. However, certain activities like biking may not be suitable for this location.
The park provides attractions for visitors of all ages, ensuring an action-packed day for the whole family.
