Estero Morua

Estero Morua, colloquially known as Rocky Point 360, is a secluded beach nestled in the city of Puerto Peñasco. The beach is on an estuary, which provides visitors with breathtaking views of both sides of the water body. The beach is particularly admired for its turquoise blue color, which is especially vibrant during high tide, and its untouched natural beauty.

One of the unique features of Estero Morua is its sandbars. Visitors can walk out onto these sandbars, which gives them a sensation of being in the middle of the ocean. The beach is part of a private community, and only members can park directly at the beach. However, public parking is available at the entrance. From the parking area, it's a brief 5-minute walk to the start of the beach. To reach Estero Morua, visitors need to take the road to Playa Encanto, pass the first guard station, then take the road to Playa La Holla, pass the second guard station, and finally take the road out to Estero Morua.

Due to its secluded location, about a 30-minute drive from downtown Puerto Penasco, Estero Morua offers a great place to recharge and enjoy some privacy. Despite its somewhat remote location, it is not overly crowded, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a tranquil beach experience.
