Foneas Beach

Foneas Beach is a beautiful little beach nestled in the mountains. The beach is characterized by its clear water, making it a popular spot for swimming and observing marine life. A unique feature of the beach is a hole in a rock located in the middle of the beach, which visitors can swim through.

The beach is covered in mid-size round rocks, which can make it uncomfortable to lay on for extended periods. Therefore, visitors are advised to bring their own chairs. There is also a beach side cafe where visitors can sit and enjoy the view. Additionally, there is a small beach bar and a taverna nearby.

Parking is available at the beach, with spaces located under the trees and near the taverna. However, due to the beach's popularity with both locals and travelers, parking can be challenging, especially later in the day. It is recommended to arrive early in the morning to secure a spot.

Access to the beach is via a path from the road. However, due to the rocky terrain, the beach may not be easily accessible for those with mobility limitations. Amenities at the beach include a shower.
