It can be reached by a 30-minute walk from the Melleiha bus station, along a track that ends in a steep downhill trail leading to the beach. Visitors are advised to wear good shoes due to the rocky terrain. The beach is known for its tranquility, often being empty even on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of summer, offering a sense of having a private beach to those who are prepared to walk. The beach is surrounded by a picturesque landscape of turquoise waters, green vegetation, and a rocky coast. There are trails stretching along this coast that offer a peaceful experience, accompanied only by the sound of waves. These trails can also be used for a circular walk along the coast and then across into town. However, they may not be very accessible for those with mobility issues. The presence of seaweed on the beach can vary depending on the tide and wind direction. The beach is also a good place to watch the sunrise, adding to its charm.
