Gallikos Molos Beach is a sandy beach located approximately 17 km from Sivota, towards Parga. The beach is quite large, providing ample space for visitors. It is divided into two sections: an organized part with sun beds, showers, and a café, and a free area where pets are allowed to swim. However, there is no natural shade on the beach, so visitors may need to bring sunshades or umbrellas.
The beach faces west, allowing visitors to enjoy the sun until sunset. It also faces the wide seas towards Corfu, which can result in quite large waves. The sandy entrance into the sea is very gradual, making it safe for children and suitable for various water games.
Parking during the high season can be difficult and hectic. There are also apartments available for summer rent located just above the beach.
In addition to the sandy area, there is a part of the beach with small pebbles. This area provides easy access to the sea and even has a special chair to assist less able people. There is also a bar located just behind the beach that provides sunbeds in the shade for a fee.
The beach is kept very clean and the water is fresh. There is some space available for visitors to set up their own towels or umbrellas. However, the use of showers at the beach bar is charged separately.
Gallikos Molos Beach amenities include parking, shower and loungers.
You can enjoy a refreshing drink at one of the bars situated on the beach.
Visitor reviews highlight the spaciousness and cleanliness of the beach, with its sandy and pebbly areas, as well as the beautiful sunsets. They appreciate the gradual entrance into the sea, which is suitable for children and water games, and the availability of amenities such as sunbeds, showers, and apartments for rent. However, visitors complain about the lack of natural shade, the difficulty of parking during high season, and the additional charges for using certain facilities like showers.
