Jupiter Beach, nestled within the Jupiter - Cap Aurora resort, is a well-known destination situated 5 km from Mangalia, between the resorts of Neptun and Venus. This beach, once part of two separate resorts, Jupiter and Cap Aurora, has now merged to form a single entity. The beach is nestled in a scenic natural environment that includes features such as a long cliff, Lake Tismana, and the Comorova Forest. The site is recommended for both relaxing vacations and treatments, thanks to the therapeutic benefits of the Black Sea water, the rich maritime climate filled with saline aerosols, and peat mud reserves.
The beach stretches along the length of the two original resorts and continues from the beach in Neptun. Jupiter Beach is known for its wide expanse and fine sand, making it an excellent spot for swimming. On the other hand, Cap Aurora's beach is narrow and conveniently located near the hotels. However, due to erosion, the beach in Cap Aurora has become increasingly rocky.
The resort offers a variety of accommodation options, including large three-star hotels, new villas in the Zodiac Holiday Village, and lower-cost camping options. For entertainment, visitors can enjoy several bars and clubs, tennis courts, football and mini-golf fields, bowling alleys, an open-air cinema, and swimming pools.
