Kalotaritissa Beach

Kalotaritissa Beach is a beautiful sandy beach located on the island of Donousa. It is the furthest beach from the island's center, requiring a 30-minute journey by local bus service. The beach is the last stop on the bus route.

The beach is characterized by its white sand interspersed with a few pebbles and crystal clear Acquamarina water. It is one of the best beaches in Donousa, offering a perfect place to relax, especially on days of strong north winds. The beach offers warm sun until late in the evening.

There is a traditional tavern located behind the beach, offering a break from the sun and an amazing view. However, visitors should be aware that there is no mobile phone coverage at the beach, and the tavern does not offer wifi. Despite its remote location, the beach is worth visiting for a day out.
