La Negrita Beach

La Negrita Beach is a beautiful beach located north of the Malecon. It is characterized by its sandy terrain, with some pebbles that do not deter from entering the water. The beach is unique due to an inlet with birds and greenery, adding to its natural charm. The water is relatively shallow, allowing visitors to go in pretty far while still having the water by their thighs. The waves are not typically intense, making it safe for children under supervision.

The beach is equipped with palapas, providing shade for visitors. It is mostly used by locals and tends to be quiet during the week. Dogs are also welcome and seem to enjoy the water.

To get to La Negrita Beach, take Davis road (the next one up from Malecon) until leaving the pavement. Continue along the road, passing very nice houses for a few hundred meters until you see an unmarked dirt road on your right along a wall. The beach is easily accessible from this point.
