Leopoldsteinersee is a picturesque lake situated near the Leopoldstein Castle in Eisenerz, Austria. Nestled amidst the mountains and surrounded by mixed and coniferous forests, the lake lies about 600 meters above sea level. It measures approximately 1400 meters in length and 370 meters in width, with its deepest point reaching 31 meters. The lake's emerald green water surface, primarily fed by underground sources and the Seebach stream, reflects the rugged rock wall of the Seemauer, offering a captivating view to its visitors.

The untouched natural beauty of Leopoldsteinersee is a popular destination for excursions and swimming. Its crystal clear water, which can reach a maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius during hot summer days, provides a refreshing respite from the heat.
