Lientoú Beach

Lientoú Beach is a sandy beach located adjacent to the town of Lipsoi, a mere five-minute walk away. The beach is fairly long and is characterized by its natural shade, provided by the trees that line the area. The waters of Lientoú Beach are shallow, requiring visitors to walk a considerable distance before being able to swim properly. This characteristic makes the beach particularly suitable for children and families. However, the waters are also noted to be quite cold, a trait typical of the Dodecanese region.

In addition to its sandy areas, Lientoú Beach also features a smaller, predominantly pebbled section. This part of the beach does not offer sunbeds or umbrellas. Instead, the only shade available is provided by the pine trees situated along the back of the beach. Despite its proximity to the town center, some visitors believe that there are other, more secluded beaches on the island that offer a superior experience.
