Lovišća Beach, also known as Plaža Lovišća, is a picturesque beach located in the tourist complex of Jezera Lovišća on the southeastern coast of the island of Murter, approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Šibenik, in the Šibenik-Knin County of Dalmatia, Croatia. The beach is nestled near the town of Jezera, which is renowned as a significant fish trading hub in the country.
The beach is characterized by its pebbled surface and crystal clear waters, offering gently sloping shores and concrete plateaus that are ideal for sunbathing and play.
Lovišća Beach is approximately 2.6 km from the town center and is easily accessible for visitors. It should be noted, however, that an entrance fee is required to access the beach, and additional charges apply for using the shower facilities. Despite its popularity, the beach is not overly crowded, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors.
For parking, guests can make use of the facilities available at the campsite. From the nearby towns of Jezera, Murter, Tisno, and Betina, visitors can easily reach Lovišća Beach. Additionally, the Krka National Park is also a nearby attraction that can be explored.
Visitor reviews highlight the beauty and spaciousness of the beach, with clean facilities and a kid-friendly environment being particularly appreciated. However, some visitors complain about the entrance fee, lack of amenities such as changing cabins and shade, and the beach being covered with concrete and cheap plastic deckchairs.
