Plage de Nyon

Plage de Nyon, also known as the beach des Trois-Jetées, is a well-liked lake beach set in a tranquil area not far from the town of Nyon. Easily accessible within a 5-10 minute walk, it serves as an idyllic destination for relaxation and water activities, especially during the summer season. The beach is currently undergoing significant renovations but remains partially open to the public. The natural characteristics of Plage de Nyon include a well-maintained lawn area that stretches to the lake, creating a safe shallow area suitable for children. Towards the far end, a small pebble beach can be found. Despite its absence of sand, an aspect some visitors find preferable due to the absence of sand blowing, the beach generally provides a calm and not overly crowded environment. In terms of amenities, Plage de Nyon offers clean toilet facilities and an on-site restaurant and bar for visitors' convenience. Parking is available on the main road, although it tends to fill up quickly. For a more scenic journey to the beach, visitors are recommended to take the pathway along the lake front instead of the main road.
