Plage de Nyon

Plage de Nyon, also known as the beach des Trois-Jetées, is a well-liked lake beach set in a tranquil area not far from the town of Nyon. Easily accessible within a 5-10 minute walk, it serves as an idyllic destination for relaxation and water activities, especially during the summer season.

The natural characteristics of Plage de Nyon include a well-maintained lawn area that stretches to the lake, creating a safe shallow area suitable for children. Towards the far end, a small pebble beach can be found. Despite its absence of sand, an aspect some visitors find preferable due to the absence of sand blowing, the beach generally provides a calm and not overly crowded environment.

In terms of amenities, Plage de Nyon offers clean toilet facilities and an on-site restaurant and bar for visitors' convenience. Parking is available on the main road, although it tends to fill up quickly. For a more scenic journey to the beach, visitors are recommended to take the pathway along the lake front instead of the main road.
