The beach is patrolled seven days a week from 8am to 5pm during the warmer seasons, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. The beach is easily accessible, with well-constructed concrete footpaths lining the entire coastline. Ample car parking is available for those who prefer to drive. However, visitors should note that dogs are not permitted on the beach. Oaks Beach offers a range of amenities for the comfort and convenience of its visitors. These include freshwater showers and a public toilet block. A flagged swimming area is also provided, which is patrolled by surf life savers. Visitors are advised to be cautious of rocks in the water in the swimming area. The beach is also equipped with roofed park benches, providing a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Shady trees and a boardwalk add to the charm of the beach, making it a pleasant spot for a swim or a leisurely walk along the foreshore. Despite its popularity, the beach is not overly crowded, making it a peaceful retreat not far from local shops.
