Ocaklar Halk Plajı, Erdek is a public beach located in Balıkesir, Turkey. The beach, awarded the Blue Flag certification in 2023, is renowned for its beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular destination for those seeking a quiet getaway.

The beach is approximately 200 meters long and 40 meters wide, providing ample space for visitors. It is divided into sections by the municipality at the start of every season to ensure a comfortable and organized beach experience. The beach is characterized by its sandy shores, free from pebbles or rocks, and direct access to the sea. A unique feature of this beach is its seaweed-covered coastal areas, which are especially noticeable during the summer months. Although this seaweed can make the sea appear dirty near the shore, the further parts of the sea remain generally clean.

Ocaklar Halk Plajı, Erdek is easily accessible from the city center, which is only 8 km away, with a travel time of approximately 10 minutes by public transportation. It is also situated 70 km from the nearest airport. Despite its popularity, the beach is not connected to any sensitive areas such as protected natural sites, archaeological sites, or sea turtle nesting areas.
