Petalioi Beach

Petalioi Beach is a stunning beach located on Evia Island. Known for its crystal clear blue water and beautiful location, it is considered one of the best beaches in the area. The beach features a unique natural characteristic, a cave on the left side where visitors can set up a tent. The seashore is made up of light dark gravel with no stones, making it comfortable for beachgoers.

The beach is accessible via a well-preserved dirt road, which can be navigated with a regular car if driven carefully. The last stretch of the road leading to the beach is particularly scenic, adding to the overall experience. There is ample parking available for visitors.

Petalioi Beach is not typically crowded, especially outside of the high season. It is particularly peaceful in June and September, making it an ideal location for a weekend getaway. However, during the high season, it can become busy with campers.

While there are no major amenities directly on the beach, there is a small canteen where visitors can purchase cold water, coffee, and snacks. For more substantial meals, there is a tavern located a short drive away. Visitors are advised to bring their own sun umbrellas as shade is limited on the beach. Free camping is also an option on days when the wind is low.
