Potami Beach

Potami Beach, situated on the north coast of the island, approximately 34 km west of Samos town and 2 km beyond the port of Karlovasi, is an enchanting destination known for its natural beauty. The beach is characterized by its extensive stretch of pebbly terrain, spanning about 800 meters. Its deep, clear waters, often invigorated by large waves when the north winds blow, mirror the refreshing blue hues of the Aegean Sea, contributing to the beach's picturesque scenery.

While Potami Beach is not fully organized, a portion of it includes amenities such as a beach bar and a selection of sunbeds with umbrellas, offering a comfortable setting for visitors. Free sunbeds are sometimes available, provided visitors order refreshments. However, there is also ample space for those who prefer to set up their own beachfront spot.

Despite its allure, Potami Beach is not usually crowded, particularly during off-peak periods such as mid-May. This makes it an ideal spot for those who desire a tranquil beach experience. The beach's location near the town of Karlovasi, which is a mere five-minute drive away, adds to its convenience. Several beach bars in the vicinity further enhance the beach experience, offering a range of refreshments and snacks.
