Strand Pottloch is accessible via a sandy path, with the beach entrance located approximately 120 meters from the DLRG station. The entrance to the water is shallow and is comprised of a mix of shells, gravel, and sand, making it a safe option for children and less experienced swimmers.

Parking is available at Strand Pottloch, with a parking lot located 150 meters from the beach. The parking lot has a total of 180 spaces, including three spots designated for individuals with disabilities. Parking is free for individuals with disabilities, while others are required to pay a fee.
