Prnjica Beach

Prnjica Beach, also known as Plaža Prnjica, is a picturesque waterfront located on the island of Pag in Croatia. It is situated on the road from Novalja to Kolan and is easily accessible via the main road that connects Novalja and the city of Pag. The beach is approximately 2 kilometers away from the center of the town of Novalja and about 1 kilometer away from the popular Zrće beach.

The beach is known for its tranquil environment, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that is less crowded compared to nearby beaches. This makes it an ideal destination for visitors seeking a serene beach experience. Prnjica Beach is characterized by its beautiful sandy shoreline and clear, shallow waters, which are suitable for children. The beach is also a popular spot for snorkeling.

Prnjica Beach is divided into two sides, with the left side being smaller but cleaner. Visitors can find an abundance of shells and pretty rocks along the shore, adding to the beach's natural appeal. The beach is situated in a bay, providing a picturesque view for beachgoers.

Despite its natural beauty, Prnjica Beach has limited amenities. There is a restaurant on-site for visitors to enjoy, but there are no food outlets or shade on the beach itself. The beach does not have water sports available and there are no bins, which has occasionally resulted in litter issues.

The beach does offer on-site parking for visitors. There is a large paid parking area available, although there have been instances where the road to the beach was closed. The beach is also wheelchair accessible, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors. However, it is important to note that dogs are not allowed on the beach.
