Playa de Sabon

Playa de Sabon, also referred to as Rañobre, is a kilometer-long beach renowned for its calm ambiance and variety of recreational activities. The beach's location, protected by an outer port, buffers it from the force of the sea, thus making it a safe and ideal location for paddle surfing and a fun spot for children.

One of the distinguishing features of Playa de Sabon is its clear water and fine, white sand. The beach also boasts a unique natural pool, warmed by the river water from noon until night. The beach is further enhanced by its several soccer fields and a water inlet featuring waterfalls from a nearby reservoir. At one end of the beach, there is a rock area that serves as a popular spot for photography enthusiasts. Despite its expansive size, Playa de Sabon maintains a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.

The beach is easily accessible due to its large size and multiple entrances. Complimentary parking is available, although it has been noted that the parking lot's size may not be proportionate to the vastness of the beach. A scenic walkway extends along the coast to Barrañan, offering an additional access point and a picturesque route for visitors.

In terms of amenities, Playa de Sabon offers a beach bar for refreshments. However, the aesthetics of the beach are somewhat marred by the view of a nearby factory. Visitors suggest that turning one's back is enough to focus on the beach's natural beauty.
