Praia de Seaia

Praia de Seaia is a secluded beach located in the municipality of Malpica de Bergantiños, in the province of A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. Known for its natural beauty, it is a popular destination for families and body boarders, particularly in the early evenings. However, the beach is also known to be crowded during the high season.

The beach is characterized by its golden sand and moderate waves. It stretches 235 meters in length and 20 meters in width, although this can vary. The shoreline is a mix of sand and rocks, and the beach is surrounded by mountains, adding to its secluded charm.

Despite its popularity, Praia de Seaia does not offer lifeguard services. Therefore, visitors are advised to exercise caution, particularly when there is a strong sea running due to the presence of an undertow. It is recommended that children are closely supervised at all times.

Praia de Seaia offers a few amenities for visitors. There are showers and waste bins available, but there are no public toilets, restaurants, or facilities for renting sunbeds or umbrellas. Additionally, there are no sports or playground areas, and no nautical clubs or diving facilities available at the beach.

Access to the beach is straightforward, as it is easily reachable by foot from the nearest road, the Ctra. Malpica - Ponteceso. There is also an unmonitored parking lot with less than 50 spaces available for those who choose to drive. An interurban bus service is available at a distance of 0.5 kilometers from the beach for those who prefer public transportation.
