Seebad Seeliken

Seebad Seeliken is a popular bathing area situated in the heart of Zug, on the shores of Lake Zug. For those looking to dine, there is a restaurant on site, as well as a kiosk offering a variety of food and drinks. Visitors can also enjoy the architecture of the men's changing room, which is considered a protected monument in the canton of Zug.

Entry to Seebad Seeliken is free of charge. The supervised bathing facilities are open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm during fair weather. Lifeguards are present, and they may restrict or suspend swimming activities if the weather conditions are deemed unsafe. Outside of these hours, visitors may use the unsupervised bathing facilities, but they do so at their own risk. The bathing season generally begins on the Saturday before Mother's Day and concludes on Buss- and Bettag.

Reaching Seebad Seeliken is straightforward. Public transportation is available, with a bus stop located at the nearby Theater Casino. Alternatively, the beach can be accessed on foot from the city center via the lakeside path or through the old town. Although the beach can get crowded, especially during the peak season, it maintains a pleasant vibe and offers a great spot to cool off and unwind.
