Beach Serrières

Beach Serrières is a peaceful location close to the city, offering a tranquil escape for visitors. It is easily accessible, with parking available across the street and a pedestrian bridge leading directly to the park. The beach is known for its magnificent panoramic views of Lake Neuchâtel and the Alps, providing a picturesque backdrop for a day out.

The beach itself is a large green area with a small pebble beach, contrasting with the urban surroundings. During the hot summer weeks, it becomes a popular spot for sun-lovers. The beach is also equipped with several amenities to enhance the visitor experience. These include grills and benches, allowing visitors to enjoy a barbecue in the sun.

One of the unique features of Beach Serrières is the shallow water level at the big curve of the lake, making it suitable for children of all ages, including babies. A floating deck nearby provides an opportunity for diving. Along the beach sidewalk, there are many fireplaces for barbecuing, and a cyclists track runs between the benches and trees, offering plenty of shade during the hot summers.

The north side of the lake is known for its gravel and stones, as opposed to the sandy south side. Visitors are advised to wear swim footwear for comfort.
