Plazh Slanchev Den

Plazh Slanchev Den is a beach located just 8 km from the center of Varna. It can be reached by buses going to Golden Sands, with a bus stop conveniently located at the entrance to the beach. The beach is known for its clean sand and calm, clear water. The sea depth remains shallow for a considerable distance from the shore, making it a child-friendly location. However, visitors are advised to bring their own food and drinks as the options available on-site are limited.

The beach offers paid parking, costing around 15-20 leva per day. Despite this, finding a parking spot can sometimes be challenging due to high demand. The beach is not typically overcrowded, providing a more relaxed and peaceful environment for visitors.

While the beach is generally well-maintained, there have been occasional reports of litter, particularly cigarette butts, on the sand. The available toilet facilities have also been criticized for their poor condition. Despite these issues, many visitors still appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of Plazh Slanchev Den.
