Plaża Stepnica

Plaża Stepnica is a tranquil beach located in the town of Stepnica, situated on the shores of the Szczecin Lagoon. The beach is known for its serene atmosphere and is a peaceful alternative to crowded seaside resorts. The beach boasts a considerable area of approximately 7100 m2, with a water access stretching about 260 meters.

The natural charm of the beach is accentuated by a promenade lined with benches and park lanterns, creating a picturesque setting that visitors can enjoy. A unique feature of the beach is the presence of beach baskets that create a distinctive atmosphere. The beach is also home to a rich fauna, offering visitors a chance to observe the local wildlife.

During the bathing season, which runs from June 15th to August 31st, a bathing area is organized by the Stepnica Municipality. For the safety of beachgoers, there is a medical point equipped with an AED defibrillator, and qualified lifeguards are on duty.

Plaża Stepnica offers various amenities, including a beach and water equipment rental where visitors can rent items such as sun loungers, umbrellas, beach baskets, windbreaks, kayaks, and water bikes. For younger visitors, a playground is available, and for adults, there are benches and walking paths. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the beach volleyball court available for more active recreation.

A significant feature of the beach is a T-shaped pier extending 160 meters, which is illuminated and serves as an additional promenade. The pier provides a covered section and allows for occasional mooring of yachts and recreational boats.

Near the beach, various gastronomic options are available, including a fish fryer, a tavern, and ice-cream. Adjacent to the beach, there is a "Wild Beach" area featuring an open-air stage where numerous cultural events take place, attracting an increasing audience each year.

Despite the range of amenities and attractions, Plaża Stepnica is rarely crowded, providing a peaceful environment for visitors to enjoy. The beach is easily accessible, with maps available for directions to the beach and the bathing area in Stepnica.
