Strandbad Brienz

Getting to Strandbad Brienz is relatively easy as it is served by public transportation. Bus stops are conveniently located nearby, and the SBB-Bahnhof Brienz is within a 10-minute walk. For those driving, parking is available at the swimming pool. However, it's worth noting that the beach tends to get crowded, especially around 11 am, and parking directly outside the entrance may be full. Alternative parking is available on the other side of the Main Street.

The water at Strandbad Brienz is known to go deep quite quickly and is rocky and pebbly. As such, visitors are advised to have water shoes. An entry fee is charged for access to the beach, and there is also an option to hire a parasol for a small fee, which is partially refunded upon return. The beach is typically open from early May to mid-September, with the opening hours varying depending on the month.
