Tilkicik Koyu

Tilkicik Koyu, also known as the Gulf of Yalıkavak, is a beach located in Yalıkavak. The area is known for its windy shoreline, although the wind has been less prevalent in recent years due to climate change. The beach is surrounded by hotels and offers a beautiful view of the sea. The sea at Tilkicik Koyu is often calm, especially as summer ends. However, the presence of a marina and heavy boat traffic in the gulf has led to pollution in the water, making it less clean than it once was. The sea is also known to be mossy and filled with long algae, which can touch your feet while swimming. Amenities at the beach include tables and chairs set up by the local businesses in the hotels and sites area. Visitors are allowed to place their own table and chair outside the business and sit down. However, it is important to note that the beach can get busy during the summer months.
