Spiaggia Torre del Budello is a picturesque beach situated in the municipality of Teulada, on the southern coast of Sardinia. The beach is relatively small, stretching for about 100 meters, and is located near the port. The beach is named after the Torre del Budello, a Spanish watchtower located on the eastern promontory that dominates the left side of the beach.
The beach features a unique natural landscape with a blend of white-amber sand mixed with pebbles and a few rocks. It also has a shallow, sandy seabed interspersed with rocks, adding to the overall beauty of the area. The sea is known for its crystalline, transparent waters that exhibit a stunning turquoise color, which darkens as one moves further away from the coast.
Despite its beauty, Spiaggia Torre del Budello is not typically overcrowded, making it an ideal location for those seeking a serene and tranquil environment. The beach offers a picturesque view of Isola Rossa, an island covered with lush Mediterranean vegetation, located directly in front of the beach.
However, it should be noted that there are currently no amenities or services available on the beach. For transportation, visitors can reach the beach by following signs for Porto Teulada on the Strada Statale 195. After passing two intersections, the Torre del Budello becomes visible and a small road on the left leads directly to the beach.
Visitor reviews highlight the pristine cleanliness of the water and the beautiful setting of the beach, with its unique blend of amber white sand, pebbles, and turquoise blue sea. They also appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and the presence of historical landmarks like the Spanish watchtower. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the rocky nature of the beach.
