Beach Tsougrias

Beach Tsougrias is a popular destination located in Skiathos, known for its crystal clear waters, soft sand, and stunning turquoise hues. The beach is shallow for a few meters from the entrance, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for visitors of all ages. The natural beauty of the beach is enhanced by the ample shade provided by the surrounding trees.

The beach is equipped with around 30 pairs of sunbeds, which are often occupied by mid-morning. There is also a bar on the beach, providing refreshments for visitors. In addition to the main beach area, there is a larger beach that can be accessed by following a small path behind the bar. This larger beach does not have any facilities but is equally beautiful and relaxing.

Visitors can reach Beach Tsougrias by boat from the old port, with departures starting from 10am and returning at 6pm at the latest. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes one way. Alternatively, boats also depart from Achladies Beach. The beach is also home to two churches, one of which can be accessed on the way to the larger beach.

Despite its many positive attributes, Beach Tsougrias has been noted for some issues with littering, particularly cigarette butts on the beach and rubbish in the surrounding forest area. Nevertheless, Beach Tsougrias remains a top choice for those seeking a relaxing beach experience in Skiathos.
