Plage de Vaugrenier

Plage de Vaugrenier is a serene beach nestled in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the PACA region of France, in the picturesque town of Villeneuve-Loubet. The beach is conveniently situated, making it an ideal stop for travellers heading towards Nice Airport.

The beach is unique in its composition, characterized by large pebbles that stretch along the shore. As a result of the pebble terrain, visitors are advised to wear swimming shoes for comfort. The beach also features a steep slope, which may make swimming challenging for children. The area closest to the port is privately owned during the summer months.

Despite its location along a bustling coastal road, Plage de Vaugrenier is not typically crowded, even during peak season. This, coupled with the beach's cleanliness, contributes to a relatively pleasant and tranquil beach experience. It is also a popular spot for evening barbecues, with dogs allowed on the beach, provided they are kept on a leash.

The beach is extended from Siesta, a local discotheque and casino, and stretches up to the marina Baie des Anges, along the scenic Vaugrenier park. A few restaurants dot the beach's landscape near the marinas, providing a range of dining options for beachgoers.

One of the notable advantages of Plage de Vaugrenier is the availability of free parking. Visitors can choose to park directly at the beach or in a parking lot situated approximately 1000m away. However, it is worth noting that the beach does not have shower facilities.
