Yaroomba Beach

Yaroomba Beach is a serene and naturally beautiful open surf beach situated in the Sunshine Coast Region of Australia. Known for its tranquillity, it is a favourite among locals and is particularly popular with surfers, especially towards the Point Arkwright headland.

The beach is characterized by its scenic views, which can be enjoyed by walking along the various tracks and boardwalks that stretch north towards Coolum. The northern end of Yaroomba Beach is a hotspot for rock pooling, teeming with small crabs and fish-filled pools, making it a delightful spot for children to explore.

In terms of amenities, Yaroomba Beach offers a BBQ area, which combined with its natural beauty, makes it an ideal location for family outings. The vicinity of Pt Arkwright also enhances the appeal of the area, offering great views and picnic facilities.

Access to Yaroomba Beach is through Beach Access points 87 to 109, with a seasonal patrol operating near Birrahl Park at Beach Access points 89 and 90. While there is no lifeguard tower at the beach, lifeguards do operate out of a vehicle during patrol times, ensuring the safety of visitors.

Parking is conveniently available at the nearby Andrew St Park, from where it is just a short walk to the beach. Despite its natural beauty, amenities, and easy accessibility, Yaroomba Beach maintains a low-key atmosphere, and is often uncrowded, further adding to its charm.
