Marmari

Marmari, also known as Loggos, is a serene and unspoiled pebble beach located in Paxi, Greece, approximately 5 km north of the island's capital, Gaios. It is a prominent attraction of Paxi, renowned for its distinctive natural characteristics. Its landscape is dotted with a variety of white shiny pebbles, creating an enchanting visual appeal. Marmari is surrounded by olive trees, providing ample shade for visitors and contributing to its tranquil and magical atmosphere.

The beach's waters are crystal clear, described by many as breathtaking, which makes it an ideal location for swimming and sunbathing. Despite its popularity, Marmari is typically not crowded, further enhancing its charm as a peaceful retreat.

In terms of amenities, Marmari does not have a tavern directly on the beach. However, visitors can enjoy meals at a nearby tavern in Levrechio, accessible via a narrow tree-lined path. There are also self-catering lodging options in close proximity to the beach, including cottages that are perfect for families or couples.

The beach is easily accessible from both Gaios and other villages. There is a parking area available near local amenities, and from there, it's a short five-minute walk to the beach. Furthermore, visitors can explore an art gallery based in Paxos, adding to the variety of activities to enjoy in the area.
