Rindbach Wasserfall

Rindbach Wasserfall, situated in Ebensee, Oberösterreich, Austria, is a renowned natural monument that serves as a picturesque point of interest for visitors. The waterfall is located near a beach, which, despite being well-frequented by cars and bikers, does not usually get crowded, enabling visitors to relish the serenity of the surrounding nature.

The waterfall can be reached from a small gravel parking lot near Schießstätte in Rindbach or at the Rindbach recreational area, which is approximately one kilometer east of Ebensee. Visitors are advised to park their cars in the designated area and embark on a hike along the forest road adjacent to the stream. This path leads to a bridge crossing the Rindbach, from where one can turn right and walk a short distance to another bridge known as the Wasserfallbrücke. The trail continues with a series of stairs and bridges until it circles back to the forest road. The entire walk from the parking lot to the waterfall and back is estimated to take between one to one and a half hours, covering an elevation difference of 113 meters. Despite the elevation change, the hike is regarded as relatively easy.

Alongside its stunning waterfall, the beach at Rindbach Wasserfall also features a paddling pool, providing a refreshing break on warm summer days. However, visitors should be prepared for the pool's cold water temperature.

For those seeking refreshments, a bar called "Windbar" is available at the Rindbach recreational area from April to October. The waterfall itself is accessible throughout the year, provided there are no snow or ice conditions. It's important to note that parking fees are applicable all year round.
