However, the industrial view is not visible when on the beach itself, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings. Wied Ix-Xaqqa is unique in that it lacks sand, but it is often described as an excellent place for swimming. Visitors should be mindful of the potential presence of jellyfish in the water.
